A very big congratulations to Lee Williams for winning the Keystone Regional Open Goose Calling Championship at the Cabelas in Hamburg, Pa. on Saturday August 18, 2012. Also a big congratulations to all of the finalist. It was a really great strong final round. Listed below were the top five finalist.

Just to let you know… I am currently out of stock in the following colors, WHITE PEARL, FLUORESCENT GREEN PEARL, ORANGE PEARL, RED PEARL, BRASS PEARL, SOLID ORANGE AND SOLID BROWN. The white pearl and fluorescent green pearl were discontinued from the manufacture. If they ever start making it again I will continue to carry those two colors. However, the red, orange, and brass pearl colors were slow selling colors that I have decided to no longer carry unless I should get a demand for them in the future. There are a few more colors that once they sell out I will no longer carry and I will let you know as they run out. I hope that this does not inconvenience anyone and I thank you for your past and continued support.

A very BIG congratulations to Mitch Hughes for winning the 2011 World Goose Calling Championship and also for the 2nd. year in a row!! He also won it back in 2006. Mitch’s first year entering the World Goose Calling Championship was back in 2005. Since that time he made it to the finals every year from 2006 to 2011. He made it to the finals of the World Goose Calling Championship 6 out of 7 years and won it 3 of those times. He is now officially retired from the World Goose Calling Championship after 3 wins and now has to wait for the World Goose Calling Champion of Champions Championship in 2015. What a great accomplishment!! Mitch, Thanks so much for all of your support. I appreciate it more than you will ever know!!

Congratulations to Mitch Hughes for winning the 2010 World Goose Calling Championship and placing 2nd. in the World Champion Of Champions!! last fall at the Waterfowl Festival in Easton, Md. BAY COUNTRY CALLS “SHORE THING” GOOSE CALLS CURRENT WINNER OF THE OFFICIAL WORLD GOOSE CALLING CHAMPIONSHIP. Also a very big congratulations to Wade Walling for winning the 2010 World Goose Calling Champion Of Champions with a GK goose call by Bob Alfieri.

I just copied the goose results from the callinducks.com competition goose callers forum that Scott Christopher had posted up. Congratulations to all of the winners and finalist. It was a full day of calling. A big thanks goes out to Sean Mann and his crew for putting on the event. The Md. State duck and goose calling contest was founded by Sean Mann back in 1991. This was the 20th actual year of calling. Thanks again to Sean and his crew!!
Teddy, Justin, Will, & all the others that were there to support BCC from blowing the calls to wearing the t-shirts, I’m very proud of all of you and I just want to say thank you. I just wanted to congratulate both Denny Hall and Thomas Brice for winning the goose calling competitions they entered this past weekend in Carlisle, Pa. at the Shooting the X calling competitions. Thomas won the Novice goose and Denny won the $1,000.00 Open Goose. Both were using a “Shore Thing”. Thanks a lot fellas for your support, I really appreciate it!!

I just found out and wanted to let everyone know that white pearl, fluorescent green pearl, and brass pearl colors are no long available. The company that was producing them no longer does. I am completely out of white pearl and only have a few fluorescent green pearl and brass pearl colored calls. Sorry for the inconvenience , if anything should change I’ll let you know. I will also post up when the fl. green and brass are gone.

Once again, It’s almost here, the World Goose Calling Championships held in Easton, Md. at the Waterfowl Festival. For those of you that have never been and thinking about going I would highly recommend it. It is a really fun time from carvings, paintings, seminars, the best seafood in the world. Really to many things to mention without forgetting something. I won’t have a booth there because there will be some vendors there that sell my calls and I really don’t want to compete with them and also I just have to many friends that come to this show that I don’t get to see very often. I will be around during the weekend so if anybody has any questions or needs anything just give me a shout. I look forward to seeing everyone and Good Luck to everyone!!
